OUR
MINISTRIES

St. John’s United Church of Christ radiates a warm and inclusive spirit that makes all who walk through its doors feel deeply welcomed. Whether newcomers or long-time residents, people are greeted with genuine kindness and offered fellowship through a variety of ministries — Sunday worship, educational programs, community outreach, and regular opportunities for connection and service. The church doesn’t just serve its congregation: it actively supports the broader community, providing spiritual care, helping meet needs, and creating a space where people of all ages can grow, belong, and find encouragement.

Kid's Ministry

There’s something special about gathering together on a Sunday morning to open God’s Word and share life’s lessons. We’d love for you to join us for Sunday School — a time of learning, laughter, and faith for all ages.

Marriage Preparation

Getting married is one of life’s greatest blessings, and we want to help you start that journey on a strong foundation. Our marriage preparation classes are designed to guide couples in building Christ-centered relationships through faith, communication, and commitment. Whether you’re newly engaged or considering marriage, we invite you to take part in this meaningful time of learning and growth together.

Young Adult Ministry

Our teens are an important part of our church family! The High School Ministry is a time for faith, fun, and friendship. We meet to learn from God’s Word, talk about real-life challenges, and support one another. From Bible lessons to service projects and the occasional pizza night, there’s always something meaningful — and enjoyable — happening!

Mission Ministry

Our Mission Ministry is dedicated to sharing God’s love beyond the walls of our church. We support and take part in local, national, and global mission efforts — reaching out to those in need through prayer, service, and giving. Whether it’s helping families in our own community or supporting ministries around the world, we believe every act of kindness reflects Christ’s heart for others.

Pastoral Support

Life brings moments of joy, challenge, and change — and you don’t have to walk through them alone. Our pastor is here to offer prayer, encouragement, and guidance to those in need. Whether you’re facing illness, grief, or simply need someone to talk with, we invite you to reach out for pastoral support. Together, we find strength in God’s love and the care of our church family.

Volunteer Groups

It takes all of us to keep our church family strong and our ministries thriving. Our Volunteer Ministry is a way to pitch in, meet new people, and serve the Lord together. Whether it’s setting up for events, lending a hand in the kitchen, or helping with worship, your time and talents make a difference. Everyone’s welcome to join in!
